Recovery from mental illness like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder is about more than just getting rid of the symptoms.

Recovery is about the individual regaining a sense of identity, belonging, and meaning in life. The services available through Colorado Recovery cover the full spectrum of client needs from diagnosis and symptom control to functioning well in work and social situations.

During the first month of admission to Colorado Recovery the client receives a full psychiatric assessment including psychiatric diagnosis, and assessment of physical health, substance use, and social and vocational functioning.

The following services are provided by Colorado Recovery.  Some clients may utilize all services beginning with residential services.  Other clients may begin treatment at different levels of service.

Standard outpatient care involves office-based services for clients who have achieved stability and optimal functioning and are based on need. Individual and group therapy includes cognitive-behavioral approaches and substance abuse counseling.

Cost of Services: See Our Fees for the cost of the services listed above. All charges for residential care, intensive outpatient treatment and support and outreach include the cost of the psychiatrist’s services and exclude the cost of medications, laboratory tests and non-psychiatric medical services. Clients pay for these services a month in advance. Standard outpatient services are billed at the end of the month.
