The following is the scale of charges for our Residential and Intensive Outpatient treatment,
in addition to other services.
Colorado Recovery is committed to treatment that is both innovative and comprehensive. A selection of our services are often not covered by many commercial insurances as a result. However, our team will work with you to review your individual financial considerations in the construction of your treatment plan. We also support you by providing completed claims forms for you to submit to your insurance company for any services that might be eligible for some reimbursement.

|Residential Admission Assessment fee||One time charge upon admission, over and above residential daily rate.||$910 one time charge.|
|Residential care||Acute residential care at Balsam House offers full psychiatric evaluation and treatment in a safe, domestic-style environment with 24-hour staffing and treatment by psychiatrists, nurses and psychotherapists.||Residential care $840 a day|
|Transitional living||Transitional-living accommodation is available for clients who are progressing from residential care to independent living. We provide room and board in a safe and healthy living environment in four 3-bedroom townhouses in Boulder; oversight by live-in aides; community organizers who help the residents plan activities; group shopping, cooking and dining and opportunities to learn household management skills.
Note that this accommodation fee is in addition to outpatient treatment charges.

|Enhanced Outpatient Services||Colorado Recovery’s psychiatrists evaluate outpatient clients frequently to prescribe an effective medication regimen which may vary day to day depending on the observed response. their level of interactions with the clinical team and psychiatrist.
Clients who have had difficulty complying with medication management may receive their medications from the outpatient staff to ensure prescription adherence. (Depending on the level of care, an additional fee may apply).

|~Bridge to You~ Mental Health Outreach Team||~Bridge to You~ Mental Health Outreach Team is a new program for clients where they are, both clinically and physically. Our assertive outreach program is an approach that can be customized to meet the unique needs of someone with a mental health disorder. Our clinicians will provide top-quality treatment in a location that is best for the client. We can meet the client at home, in the community or at a residential facility.||Mobile: $500 a month|

|Substance Use Assessment||Substance Use Assessment||$312 one time fee|
|Substance Use Individual Counselling||Individual counseling regarding substance abuse use after leaving Balsam House, in addition to bundled outpatient rates.||$125 an hour|
|Care Plus||Care Plus is standard outpatient care with the provision of additional services that offer a safety net and support for the client. These features include: crisis services, with home visits when needed; access to activities at our psychosocial clubhouse and Balsam House; the psychiatrist and therapist perform client assessments together to provide a treatment team approach; additional nursing services; referrals for physical health care; daily activity planning and breakfast group with clients; communication with family, other providers, attorneys, etc; and other services.||Per contact charges + $268 a month|
|Unstructured Discharge Fee||The Unstructured Discharge Fee is for clients that leave Balsam House (our residential treatment center) without at least 72 hours notice. Without proper notice we are unable to work with the client to plan ahead for their aftercare.||$1680 fee|
The charges for Residential and Intensive Outpatient treatment and Support and Outreach listed above include psychiatrists’ charges and all other services except laboratory tests, medications and non-psychiatric medical evaluation and treatment. These “bundled” service charges offer a substantial savings over the usual cost if they were charged at a “per contact” rate for each individual service below. Contact with the psychiatrist who is leading the treatment team is frequent, but is included in the overall fee for the package of services.

We bill the client or family in advance each month for all residential and intensive outpatient treatment, except standard outpatient care which is billed at the end of the month. We provide detailed invoices and completed insurance forms to assist the client or family in obtaining reimbursement from their health insurance plan.
