David Graybill, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the University of Colorado, serving as chief resident in psychiatry at Denver Health Medical Center. Dr. Graybill has worked with people with severe persistent mental illness and their families for approximately 30 years. Most of this time, he held a unique dual position with both the Mental Health Center of Boulder County and the Colorado Mental Health Institute at Fort Logan, which fostered continuity of care between both organizations and for the patients that they serve. He has also been on the staff of Boulder Community Hospital, Longmont United Hospital and, as a volunteer faculty member with the University of Colorado Department of Psychiatry, has been involved with the education of medical students and residents. Dr. Graybill also worked in Australia for one year where he practiced inpatient, outpatient, and consultation liaison psychiatry. He has a passion for working with and providing the best possible care for those most in need, and their families.
