Born and raised in Michigan, Ian grew up with an affinity for the outdoors. His childhood was spent hiking, fishing, hunting, biking, backpacking, skiing, and anything else he found exciting. Ian attended Central Michigan University, earning a Bachelor of Science in sociology and psychology. Not long after, Ian moved to Colorado to pursue a master’s degree at Naropa University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Wilderness Therapy. Since then, Ian has worked as a wilderness guide in Utah for at-risk youth, worked as a mountain bike, climbing instructor and much more. Ian has always had a desire to support others in achieving their highest potential and feels his passion is being fulfilled through combining his love for the outdoors and connecting with others.
