Monika Pursell, MA, LPC-C, Balsam House Case Manager and Art Therapist, Monika came to Colorado Recovery in 2016, as a clinical art therapy intern. Since completing her masters in counseling from Naropa University, Monika has moved from art therapist to residential counselor, to case manager.    She also facilitates a weekly art therapy group and provides individual art therapy sessions for clients.  Moika moved to the front range from Columbus, Ohio where she worked as an artist and educator for over 7 years.  She believes passionately in the healing power of both viewing and making art.
