Recovery from mental illness, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, is about more than reducing the expression of symptoms – it is about learning to successfully reengage with the community to contribute.
Recovery from mental health disorders such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder are about the individual regaining a sense of identity, belonging, and meaning in life. The specialized services available cover the full spectrum of client needs from diagnosis and symptom control to functioning in work and social situations.
Initial assessment: During the first month of admission, the client receives a full psychiatric assessment including psychiatric diagnosis, and assessment of physical health, substance use, and social and vocational functioning.
The following services are provided by Colorado Recovery. Some clients may utilize some or all of these services.
